halfway through the year?  i'm sure i'm not the only one who feels the whoosh of time flashing by.  i am so glad to have these shots to look back on, small moments in time, insignificant in the scheme of things, but oh so precious to a mama who desperately wants to imprint them in her mind, never to forget the wonder of it all.

" a portrait of my children once a week, every week, in 2013"

He - loves to jump

She - my golden girl

I have been away on a trip of a lifetime these last 2 weeks, so to be honest, these photos were taken a few weeks ago just before I left.  It was a beautiful, warm winters day, just perfect for wandering along the foreshore of the lake.  Very different from today, with water bucketing down all around, what a welcome home.

last week I loved this shot by Serendipity in Chaos, there is something so magical about taking the time to just look at the clouds.

Nutella Cookies

Is there anything better than Nutella?  Why yes there is - a Nutella cookie! And you can make them gluten free!! ( the extra exclamation points are deliberate here in case you were wondering).

Super easy to make, even easier to eat, you can thank me later.

GLUTEN FREE NUTELLA COOKIES (recipe c/o Megles)

1 cup plain flour ( I used a mix of gluten free plain flour and rice flour)
1 cup Nutella
1 egg
If making gluten free I'd add in a tsp of xantham gum

Mix all ingredients.  Roll into walnut shaped balls, place onto baking tray lined with baking paper.  Flatten each cookie gently.

Bake in oven 160 celcius (fan forced) for 8 - 10 minutes.

Enjoy!!
