" a portrait of my daughter once a week, every week, in 2014"

she - had mum and dad to herself one night this week.  Her one request?  Dinner out for Indian.  It was the "best night ever mum".

inspiring me last week were Jane Mabel ( always!), chair and chair, The Adored Journal and Billy and August.

    It's so lovely when something simple makes your kids deliriously happy! Such an atmospheric photo - I love the effect of the black and white.

    my daughter has been asking for time with both of us all the time lately which is hard when we often need to trade for work obligations. but it makes me feel relieved that making her happy can be so simple - just time together is enough.
